EPL quick picks. Due to time constraints, FULL round analysis will not be available.Sunderland v Fulham
Verdict: Fulham's good form this season can be attributed mostly to their solid defence, conceding only 17 goals in 20 games (4th best). In the last month though, the Cottagers have conceded 8 goals in their last 4 games and were given a thorough examination by non-leaguers Kettering Town last time out. Despite a lack of wins, Sunderland have seen an upturn in form and were rather unfortunate in their 2-1 loss to Aston Villa in their last Premier League outing. Sunderland are desperately close to the relegation zone and with a fresh Kenwyne Jones and Cisse to call on, the home team are a good chance to take full advantage of a creaky Fulham backline.
Pick: Sunderland -0.25
Sunderland 1 - 0 Fulham
WBA v Manchester United
Verdict: WBA have no choice but to have a go at their more illustrious rivals in today's game. Manchester United have their fair share of injuries but still pose a huge attacking threat, especially against a team that has conceded 37 goals this season (most in the league). Considering Manchester have a tough tie against Everton on Sunday, they will be trying to put this game to bed as early as possible.
Pick: Over 1 goal at Half-time
WBA 0 - 2 Manchester United (HT)
Manchester City v Newcastle United
Verdict: Newcastle United are a club in crisis with goalkeeper extraordinare, Shay Given, looking to leave the club. In addition, the squad is devoid of three of their main striking weapons due to injury. Manchester City aren't flying themselves, currently in 12th position, but have the impressive Stephen Ireland returning from suspension. New transfer signings Craig Bellamy and Nigel de Jong are in line to make their debuts. Newcastle well may have one eye on the Wearside derby on Sunday.
Pick: Manchester City -0.75
Manchester City 2 - 1 Newcastle
Everton v Arsenal
Verdict: Both teams are on a 8-game unbeaten run but Everton are arguably the team in better form. The Merseysiders seem to be growing in stature following good performances against the 'Top 4' this season, culminating in draws against Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Arsenal lack natural width in their side which will play in the hands of Everton who have only conceded 2 goals in their last 8 competitive fixtures. Everton retain the services of Fellaini and possibly Arteta which is a big boost for the home team.
Pick: Everton +0.25
Everton 1 - 1 Arsenal
