Manchester City v Chelsea
Verdict: Chelsea take their perfect record to the city of Manchester to face their stiffest test so far this season. Chelsea have won 5 games on the trot with an impressive GD of +20 but it can be argued that they have not played any team of note. Manchester City looks like a team that is still in transition but in any case, were still good enough to topple Wigan Athletic 0-2 last weekend.
Manchester City have a dillemma in defence with Boateng and Lescott doubtful, while fellow defenders Richards, Bridge, and Kolarov definitely ruled out for this game. This is a major concern for the home side. especially against a high scoring Chelsea outfit. Yes, Chelsea have not played the cream of the Premier League in their current winning streak but wins bring confidence and the Londoners are playing good football, alot better than Mancester City. I believe that the best Manchester City can hope for here is a draw and this if Hart has in incredible game.
Pick: Chelsea DNB @1.58 (sbobet, 10 units)
Manchester City 1 - 0 Chelsea
Blackpool v Blackburn Rovers
Verdict: Blackpool will look to avenge their 4-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea when they meet Blackburn at Bloomfield Rd. Blackpool were outclassed for 45 minutes at Stamford Bridge but can atleast take heart from a spirited second half showing. Blackburn drew 1-1 with Fulham last weekend but lost 3-1 to Aston Villa in a midweek League Cup fixture.
Blackburn have played the role of spoilers pretty well this season against much fancied opponents in Everton, Arsenal and Manchester City but it is against teams like Blackpool that they have issues with. Blackpool have done well on their home patch so far this season with an opening day, 4-0 mauling of Wigan Athletic in addition to an entertaining 2-2 draw with Fulham. With midfielders in Grella, Dunn, and Andrews ruled out, Allardyce will be forced to choose between Pedersen, N'Zonzi, Emerton, Olsson, and Jones of which all played 90 minutes just two days ago. This will make it an even more difficult task for the visitors to keep up with an enthusiastic Blackpool side.
Pick: Blackpool DNB @2.30 (expekt, 10 units)
Blackpool 1 - 2 Blackburn

Bolton v Manchester United
Verdict: Manchester United will look to take full advantage of Arsenal and Chelsea's misfortune as they face Northern neighbours Bolton. The Red Devils will be in a buoyent mood after defeating old rivals Liverpool 3-2 last weekend with Berbatov bagging a hat-trick. Bolton have only a single win to their name so far this season but managed a creditable 1-1 draw at Villa Park last weekend.
Bolton manager, Owen Coyle, is trying to implement a more cultured style of football at the Reebok and the signs are that his team are still adjusting to it. Home draws to Fulham and Birmingham City isn't really going to get the Trotters in the Top 10. Manchester United turned on the style last week and perhaps should of won by a more comfortable margin. Evans and O'Shea continue to be the weak links but the return of Ferdinand, and the impressive performance of Smalling midweek gives Ferguson some options. Jaaskalainen returns in goals for Bolton but centre-back Cahill is suspended while his replacement Andy O'Brien is struggling with a hamstring strain. I can't see Bolton offering too much resistance for a United team that is in hot scoring form.
Pick: Manchester United -1AH @1.83 (pinnacle, 10 units)
Bolton 2 - 2 Manchester United
Wolverhampton v Aston Villa
Verdict: Wolverhampton will aim to jump into the top half of the table with a win over Aston Villa today, following two away league defeats on the spin. On both occassions, Wolves gave away one goal leads at Fulham and Tottenham respectively. Aston Villa continue to struggle for consistency following a 1-1 home draw against Bolton.
Wolverhampton have been the most physical, and ill disciplined, side in the league so far this season. It has worked for them reasonably well as they have been competitive in every fixture. Aston Villa have come away with nothing against teams of a similar nature this season, losing heavily at Newcastle 6-0 and at Stoke City 2-1. Despite losing their last two games, the Wolves can take heart from their recent performances and I give them a good opportunity at getting atleast a point against a misfiring Aston Villa.
Pick: Wolverhampton DNB @2.08 (pinnacle, 10 units)
Wolverhampton 1 - 2 Aston Villa
