EPL quick picks. Due to time constraints, FULL round analysis will not be available. Saturday, 22 November
Liverpool v Fulham
Summary: Second placed Liverpool will aim to keep pace with London rivals Chelsea as they do battle against an in form Fulham. Fulham have lost only 1 of their last 6 Premier League encounters but will face their stiffest task so far this season at Anfield, especially as they are yet to record a victory away from Craven Cottage. Liverpool will be without talisman Steven Gerrard but top marksman Fernando Torres is likely to start. Fulham's Roy Hodgson has a full compliment of players to choose from apart from long-term absentee, Diomansy Kamara.
Verdict: Fulham have only scored 2 goals on their travels which is a poor return, considering that they have played against struggling defensive sides Everton, West Brom, and Blackburn Rovers. Liverpool with Torres in the starting line-up is a different proposition all together and although Gerrard is out, the home team still has the creativity to feed their top marksman and the in-form Robbie Keane.
Pick: Liverpool -1
Liverpool 0 - 0 Fulham
Stoke City v West Bromwich Albion
Summary: Newly promoted sides Stoke and West Brom, battle it out here in a clash where both teams will be looking to redeem themselves after been embarassed by two of the big boys of the Premiership. Stoke City were swept aside with a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United, where Chelsea handed West Brom a 3-0 defeat in front of their own fans. West Brom go into this encounter with only one win on their travels and one point from their last six fixtures. Stoke have faired alot better than their old Division 1 rivals, recording 3 victories in their last six Premiership outings.
Verdict: Stoke have only lost twice at home all season, namely against Chelsea and strong away side Everton which is not a disgrace at all. Stoke will have to make do without the suspended Ricardo Fuller but an able replacement in Dave Kitson lies in wait. West Brom do without useful midfielder James Morrison and possibly the confidence to take anything away from this encounter.
Pick: Stoke City DNB
Stoke City 1 - 0 West Bromwich
