Team news: Stoke City - Faye (IN) -- Fulham - Hangeland (doubtful), Pantsil (OUT)
Verdict: Snow is forecast at the Brittania Stadium this evening with the home side desperate to break a run of 6 games without victory. Fulham have no such worries, losing out narrowly to Chelsea (2-1) in a game in which they had the lead. Stoke City fell victim to an irresistable Birmingham City side, a 0-1 home defeat.
Despite their fine recent form, Fulham have only managed one win away from home all season. In general, they have done very well against the better teams but have dropped points to the like of West Ham United, Burnley, Bolton, and Wigan Athletic - teams that I think are in the same quality bracket as Stoke City. In addition, Fulham manager Roy Hodgson, will have a selection headache tonight with back men Pantsil (definitely out), and main man Hangeland a huge doubt. Stoke City have no injury doubts and in what is predicted to be tough conditions, I expect the hungrier and more motivated side to collect the 3pts.
